Job Summary
Team and Mission
We are looking for a driven and experienced Scrum Master to support the Wüest Dimensions (WD) Product Teams and help us scale our agile practices. You are going to be based in Lisbon and you will be part of a highly motivated team which is partly located also in Switzerland and Germany.
Our team of 40 specialist supports the full software lifecycle from conception prototyping development and operations/support of running applications. Our lean project teams guarantee prompt decision-making a rapid response to changing requirements and flexible solutions to customers needs. Our customers are from various industries including banking insurance new outlets comparison platform real-estate companies and the public sector. We work in various small to mid-sized projects often including everything from web-frontend a complex database and backend system with business logic as well as interfaces to third-party applications.
As Scrum Master you will be a servant leader and a coach: ensuring our teams operate at their best continuously improving how they collaborate deliver and grow.
Your Responsibilities
- Coach and guide development teams in adopting and deepening agile principles
- Identify and proactively remove impediments that block team progress escalating where necessary
- Foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement within and across teams
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to maintain a healthy well-refined product backlog
- Track and communicate team metrics to support data-driven decisions
- Support cross-team coordination and dependency management across WD product streams
- Contribute to the broader agile community within Datahouse sharing practices and learnings beyond the delivery team
- Champion the adoption of GenAI tools and AI-assisted workflows within the WD teams: identifying practical opportunities supporting team members in building confidence with new tooling and helping embed these practices sustainably into day-to-day ways of working
Qualifications :
- University degree in Computer Science Business Informatics or a related field; equivalent practical experience is equally valued
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM PSM I/II or equivalent); additional agile certifications (SAFe LeSS etc.) are a plus
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master preferably in a software product development environment with multiple teams; 58 years of overall experience in an IT environment
- Solid understanding of software development practices you can speak the language of developers
- Proven ability to coach teams through conflict change and continuous improvement
- Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams across multiple locations
- Familiarity with agile tooling such as Jira Confluence or similar
- Highly organised empathetic and pragmatic you balance process discipline with common sense
- Fluency in English written and verbal
