Job Summary
Key duties include
This role plays a key part in maintaining and evolving a high-performing kitchen supported by an experienced leadership team and well-established systems.
- Leading developing and inspiring a diverse kitchen brigade
- Overseeing recruitment onboarding and ongoing team development
- Working closely with the procurement team to manage suppliers and product integrity
- Ensuring strict compliance with HACCP and food safety standards
- Managing food cost targets labour efficiency and overall kitchen financial performance
- Building strong relationships with heads of department group leadership and key suppliers
- Driving ongoing product and recipe development in line with the venues standards and direction.
Qualifications :
Key Selection Criteria
- Proven experience in a similar role within a premium dining or hatted environment
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of mentoring and developing teams
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced high-volume setting
- Solid commercial acumen with experience managing P&L and food cost controls
- A genuine passion for hospitality with awareness of current industry trends
- Impeccable presentation suited to a high-end open kitchen environment
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster
- Strong focus on product knowledge team training and recipe consistency
