Simulator Maintenance Technical Officer

As the Simulator Maintenance Technical Officer you will operate repair overhaul modify test and / or calibrate any complex mechanical and hydraulic systems on Simulators and / or Simulator support equipment.

This role will be responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance on all full flight simulators and flight training devices. 

To be successful youll have: 

• Associate Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Simulator maintenance experience desirable
• Understanding of basic electronics associated with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to service troubleshoot and rectify electric and hydraulic motion systems
• Understanding of software and associated utilities
• Electrical and mechanical experience associated with Full flight Simulators and flight training devices
• Ability to maintain visual and projector systems
• Computer networking skills desirable
• Aircraft systems knowledge desirable
• Sound written and communication skills
• OH&S awareness
