Manager- NGS

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Biosafety is looking for a Manager to provide technical expertise and oversight of a Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) department. This leader will have oversight over scientists responsible for executing routine testing of validated platform methods within the department.  This individual will also contribute to the development validation and execution of NGS methods for commercial offering. The role requires an understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations and biopharmaceutical testing. Previous leadership experience and effective communication skills would benefit this role.

Position is on site in Lancaster PA.

Qualifications :

Minimum qualifications

• Ability to work in the US without immediate or potential future sponsorship.
• Team leadership communication organization technical skills.
• Scientist with knowledge of genomics methodology and instrumentation (direct experience with NGS methodology would be an added benefit).
• Knowledge of development and validation of genomics/molecular biology methods for commercial offering.
• BA/BS MS or PhD in Molecular Biology/Genetics Genomics Biochemistry Biotechnology or related field

BA/BS with at least 3-5 years related experience including direct supervision of staff preferably working in GMP environment. Experience in industrial biotech organization

MS or PHD with at least 3 years related experience including direct supervision of staff preferably working in GMP environment. Experience in industrial biotech organization

Additional Information :

Working schedule will be Full-Time First Shift Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster PA are encouraged to apply. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
