Your Responsibilities a Planning Development Manager:

• Develop an annual revenue goal and implementplanto achieve this target. Maintain a persistent internal Business Development communication process. Maintain contact with clients and vendors by meeting regularly with key clients to discuss current projectscorrelatesall pertinent informationresolvesconflictevaluatesfirm performance andidentifiesother business opportunities either with current clients or through referrals.
• Identifyandsolicitpotential clients/projects asappropriate and keep Sector Leaders operations and business lines up to date onnew sales new opportunities and account issues/news.

Communicate Quality Assurance:

• Train Teams to practice responsive client-focused communication. Enhance andmaintainoffice regional and national communication and awareness as it relates to the practice.

Quality Management:

• Identifiesareas needing improvement and recommends corrective action to improve overall project performance.
• Conducts project kick-off meetings for project team enlightenment and project enrichment toassurethere is a necessary understanding of project approach and what the execution plan and schedule for each project will be.

DevelopStaff:

• Build manage andmaintaina team of Project Managers and Designers/Planners
• Training: Follow up on any training requested by employees identify training tools for team (Lunch & Learn Red Vector etc.)
• Mentor staff on industry knowledge project knowledge process knowledge and best practices.

Establish and achieve financialobjectives:

• Maintain project budget and schedule.
• Analyze variances (e.g. scope creep)
• Negotiate changes in scope/contract.
• Invoice and collect payment per contract terms.
• Initiate corrective actions.
• Reportresultstomanagement.

Maintain Professional and technical knowledge:

• Attend educational workshops.
• Review professional and market segment publications.
• Establish personal networks.
• Participate in applicable professional societies and trade associations.

What were looking for:

• 8 years of experience in related field
• BachelorsDegree in Planning Landscape Architecture Public Administration Business Administrationor equivalent
