Whats the role

Youll lead and grow Westpacs Structured Finance business within Debt Products Corporate and Institutional Banking. This role is about shaping client relationships originating and executing complex structured finance transactions and expanding our product capability across the market.

This is a permanent full time role based in Sydney. Youll work closely with senior clients market participants and internal partners across credit legal markets and relationship teams to deliver well structured outcomes that balance commercial growth with strong risk discipline.

Youll be accountable for building a high quality pipeline raising the profile of Structured Finance internally and externally and mentoring team members as the business continues to grow. If you enjoy working at the intersection of strategy client engagement and deal execution this role gives you the platform to make a real impact.

What do I need

  • Proven SF and/or Corporate Finance transaction deal origination and execution history.
  • Proven experience in executing sophisticated financing structures e.g. securitisation asset-based finance and receivables finance.
  • Good working knowledge of tax accounting and regulatory issues (APS 120) related to complex Corporate Finance.
  • Likely to be qualified in Finance Accounting Tax or related discipline.
  • A self starter with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Organisational competency in understanding the principles of ABS Bond distribution.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • AI / Digital Productivity -demonstrated ability to use approved AI tools to improve productivity i.e. deal origination /execution.
