Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CVOR Tech to support cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience assisting in complex cardiac and vascular cases and demonstrate strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments
- Ensure proper setup and turnover of operating rooms
- Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
- Maintain accurate surgical counts and ensure patient safety
- Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to all infection control and safety standards
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR Tech experience
- Hands-on experience with cardiac and vascular surgeries
Required Case Experience Includes:
- CABG (on/off pump)
- Valve repairs/replacements (AVR MVRR TVRR)
- Aortic aneurysm/dissection procedures
- Endovascular and open vascular procedures
- LVAD ECMO TAVR TEVAR
- Coronary artery bypass graft and related procedures
Preferred Experience:
- General laparoscopic thoracic bariatric transplant or vascular procedures
Certifications:
- BLS certification required
- NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
