Job Summary
Under moderate supervision supports planning operations by assisting with zoning land use and development review activities. Performs entry to professional-level urban planning work including interpreting regulations reviewing permits conducting research supporting public engagement efforts and assisting with planning projects and administrative tasks. Ensures compliance with applicable codes ordinances and development standards while providing customer service to the public and stakeholders.

Planning Technician
- Provides technical assistance to staff planners and the public regarding planning programs and regulations.
