You will be part of a highly motivated technically strong Trade Floor Support team providing dedicated desktop support to demanding front office users working across multiple products not limited to FX Debt Emerging Markets and Corporate Finance.

You willbe directly involved insupportingall front office technologyprojectsandhave a responsibility formaintainingon prem remote racked based computesolution as well as theDisaster Recovery willhaveexposure toinnovativetechnologies and products in a transformational alongside expertsin engineeringproductand the wider End userComputingteam.

Your key responsibilities

  • Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles (ITIL based environment)
  • Understanding of Remote technologies(Citrix).Mixture of virtual and physical end points; Design and procedure writing skills to aid Global teams.
  • Technical leader for the support team who can develop and mentor juniortalent
  • Prioritising and executing service sure that assignments are scheduled and completedin a timely manner; Assisting with upgrades and deployment of new products - software and hardware
  • Performing ticket analysis toidentifycommon issues and trends. Recommending corrective actions to eradicate underlying root causes. Engaging with Desktop and Windows engineering IT service management and other teams to design and implement remedial plans
  • Participating in ad hoc weekend working and the teamon-callrota asrequired

Your skills and experience

  • Solid trade floor desktop support
  • Experience in managing high impacting incidents as well as pro-active problem management
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows 10/Office 365 suite of products particularly Excel and Outlook as well as plugins
  • In-depth knowledge of Market Data/Trading/Execution platforms
  • Excellent client facing skills face to face or via phone/chat/email
  • Experience in managing and supporting VOIP phonesturretsand mobile devices
