The Role

We are seeking an Audit Senior to join our team! In this role you will have the opportunity to work on audits reviews compilations within a variety of different industry niches.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client audit engagements which include planning executing directing and completing financial audits.
• Begin to develop advanced technical knowledge
• Continue to develop understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques.
• Research and analyze financial statement and audit related issues.
• Acquire a working knowledge of the clients business.
• Perform other job-related duties as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting or business with a certificate in accounting from an accredited university
• Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience
• Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
• Outstanding responsive and polished communication skills both oral and written.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrates an ability to function at a high level in a deadline driven time-sensitive environment
• Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CPA in good standing or are actively pursuing the CPA license

Location

At Wilson Lewis were focused on creating a collaborative environment. This individual would ideally sit in the Duluth office but is also welcome to sit at the Atlanta or Gainesville location or a hybrid of the 3 depending on commute.
