Job Summary

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for establishing and leading a Power BI capability serving as the primary resource for designing and delivering data visualization solutions that support business decision-making. The position requires a senior-level developer who can work independently to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions while also guiding best practices and mentoring team members.

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for establishing and leading a Power BI capability serving as the primary resource for designing and delivering data visualization solutions that support business decision-making. The position requires a senior-level developer who can work independently to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions while also guiding best practices and mentoring team members.
Duties:
- Design document develop test implement and support Power BI solutions
- Deliver high-quality dashboards and reports including leading testing validation and implementation activities
- Advise leadership on Power BI initiatives project milestones and resolution of technical challenges
- Collaborate closely with business units to understand processes and gather reporting requirements
- Translate business needs into effective data models analytics and visualization solutions
- Provide coaching and guidance to staff on Power BI best practices standards and efficient development approaches
- Act as a subject matter expert and internal resource for Power BI tools and capabilities
- Identify and recommend improvements to Power BI development processes and methodologies
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users
- Independently manage development efforts demonstrating strong decision-making and initiative
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience developing Power BI solutions
- 5 years of strong proficiency in DAX Power Query and data modeling
- 5 years of experience working with SQL and relational databases
- Proven ability to lead plan develop and implement Power BI projects
- Ability to provide technical support to end users
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills
