Job Summary

Job Title: Data Center Technician
Location: Tukwila WA Onsite required to travel to Quincy WA occasionally
Duration: 6 months

Required Skills:

5 years of Data Center Technician experience

Hands-on experience with:

Racking & stacking
Troubleshooting servers routers and switches
Decommissioning hardware
Fiber optic cabling in large-scale environments
Experience with ticketing systems
MS Excel experience (Pivot Tables)
Experience working with Cisco Dell and HP servers

Work Description:

Act as the sole local Data Center Technician for WA locations
Oversee and ensure completion of installs and decommissions
Work with fiber network routers and servers
Manage and maintain a large data center environment (30 racks 15 servers per rack extensive cabling)
Perform database entry and tracking using internal systems and Excel
Coordinate work independently while communicating with remote supervisors (East Coast team)

Soft Skills:

Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Strong communication skills
