The Facilities Coordinator supports the compliant and reliable operation of building infrastructure utilities and production support systems within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. This role coordinates preventive maintenance activities responds to facility issues and ensures facility systems remain compliant with internal quality and regulatory requirements. The position works closely with Facilities leadership Quality Engineering Operations and external service providers to maintain equipment reliability support audit readiness and coordinate maintenance activities that minimize disruption to manufacturing operations.
What You Will Do
Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities for facility infrastructure including HVAC systems utilities and production support equipment.
Manage and track preventive maintenance activities using the CMMS ensuring timely completion and proper documentation in compliance with GDP and internal quality procedures.
Support troubleshooting efforts for mechanical electrical and environmental systems that impact production areas and controlled environments.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation to support regulatory compliance inspections and audit readiness.
Coordinate and document controlled work orders nonconformances and maintenance activities affecting validated facility systems.
Schedule coordinate and oversee external vendors and contractors performing maintenance repairs inspections and facility services.
Ensure vendor activities comply with site procedures safety requirements and documentation standards.
Assist with facilities-related procurement including service requests purchase orders and vendor coordination.
Support facilities projects such as equipment installations upgrades and improvements to building and utility systems.
Partner with Facilities leadership Engineering Quality and Operations to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize disruption to manufacturing operations.
Identify and escalate facility-related risks that could impact regulatory compliance equipment reliability or production continuity.
Perform other facilities-related duties as assigned.
What You Need
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma
5 Years Related Experience
Experience supporting facilities operations within a regulated environment (medical device pharmaceutical biotechnology or similar).
Working knowledge of building infrastructure utilities HVAC systems and production support equipment.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
Experience with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and quality system requirements.
Experience coordinating vendors and contractors in compliance-driven environments
Travel Percentage: 10%
