Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Web Digital Accessibility Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web accessibility guidelines and best practices as well as experience in implementing and maintaining accessibility standards on websites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with web development and design teams to ensure that all websites and digital content are accessible to people with disabilities

- Conduct regular audits and testing to ensure compliance with accessibility standards including WCAG 2.0 and ADA Section 508

- Develop and maintain accessibility policies and procedures for the companys websites

- Train and educate team members on accessibility guidelines and best practices

- Work with third-party vendors to ensure their products and services are accessible

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in web accessibility

- Monitor and track website accessibility metrics and provide regular reports to management

- Serve as a point of contact for any accessibility-related inquiries or concerns

- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure all digital content is accessible and inclusive for all users

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science web design or a related field

- 3 years of experience in web accessibility compliance and implementation

- Strong understanding of web accessibility guidelines including WCAG 2.0 and ADA Section 508

- Experience with accessibility testing tools and techniques

- Knowledge of HTML CSS and JavaScript

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

- Passion for creating an inclusive and accessible online experience for all users
