Job Summary
Job Title : Product Control
Experience : 5-8 Years
Location : Mumbai
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and validate daily P&L reporting for trading desks
- Perform P&L reconciliation across systems and reports
- Analyze and explain P&L movements and variances
- Ensure accurate balance sheet reporting and month-end closure
- Maintain financial controls and compliance standards
- Provide advisory support on trades and new products
- Coordinate with Front Office Risk and Finance teams
- Investigate and resolve breaks and discrepancies
- Support audit activities and compliance reviews
- Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Handle product control related projects
- Ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity
- Communicate insights to stakeholders and management
Requisites
- MBA (Finance) / CA or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of Fixed Income and financial products
- Understanding of P&L valuation and product control
- Experience in trade lifecycle and booking structures
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VBA is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards
- Ability to work with financial data and systems
- Experience in audit and compliance processes
- High attention to detail and logical reasoning
