A leading luxury hospitality organisation is seeking a Regional Chef Trainer to support and elevate culinary standards across multiple lodges in East Africa. This role is ideal for an experienced and passionate culinary professional who thrives in training mentoring and developing high-performing kitchen teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Revise and standardise 7-day menus across lodges in line with food styling guidelines
Train chefs on presentation plating and guest experience standards
Develop and implement special dietary menus and concepts
Create innovative menus and enhance food offerings across lodges
Train teams on costing kitchen controls and waste management
Lead bush banqueting and guest dining experiences training
Mentor and develop chefs to improve skills and career progression
Work closely with lodge managers HODs suppliers and procurement teams
Ensure alignment with food strategy guest feedback and operational standards
Rotate across lodges to maintain and improve culinary consistency
Host workshops contribute to training programs and support regional initiatives
Requirements
Requirements:
Higher Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
10 years experience in the hospitality / culinary industry
Strong background in training and kitchen leadership
Excellent understanding of food presentation costing and kitchen operations
Experience working in high-end or luxury hospitality environments
