The School of Nursing is a highly engaged supportive and innovative academic team within the College of Health and Education. Working closely with extensive clinical partners and active national and international research collaborators the Nursing team provides high-quality student-focused learning experiences across undergraduate postgraduate and research programs.

Your New Role!

The Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Nursing contributes to highquality teaching research and professional engagement within the discipline. The role involves delivering and enhancing curriculum supervising honours and postgraduate students and contributing to academic leadership and service across the School College and University.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design deliver and assess teaching across a range of formats including lectures tutorials practical classes workshops and seminars.

  • Supervise honours and postgraduate research students.

  • Lead and contribute to curriculum development teaching innovation and continuous improvement in learning and teaching quality.

  • Engage in service and professional activities that support the School University and nursing profession.

This Continuous Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $138K $159K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.

What youll bring to the role:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • Completion of a PhD in a relevant nursing discipline.

  • Demonstrated excellence in nursing education supported by positive student and peer feedback.

  • Strong commitment to evidencebased teaching curriculum design and contemporary nursing pedagogy.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a collegial interdisciplinary academic team.
