This role leads the strategic stakeholder engagement behind Queenslands most high profile city shaping projects including Brisbane 2032 venues offering the rare opportunity to influence major infrastructure outcomes and elevate Builts reputation on a global stage.

The Opportunity

As Stakeholder Engagement Manager you will play a key role in shaping Builts most highprofile projects including major Brisbane 2032 venues. As Stakeholder Engagement Manager youll lead strategic engagement across tender and delivery phases strengthening relationships and driving collaboration to ensure successful project outcomes. This is a chance to influence cityshaping work and help position Built as a leader in delivering transformative infrastructure.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead endtoend stakeholder engagement across major strategic projects - including Brisbane 2032 venues - shaping engagement plans messaging and relationships that support effective tendering and successful project delivery.
• Build trusted partnerships with government officials industry leaders senior executives and community groups to drive alignment collaboration and project certainty.
• Embed stakeholder considerations into bids procurement and project delivery including providing strategic advice on stakeholder risks issues and mitigation strategies from tender phase through to completion.
• Identify stakeholder risks early provide strategic advice to senior leadership and implement mitigation plans that protect project timelines and Builts reputation.
• Shape and deliver clear consistent project communications including stakeholder notifications briefings presentations and newsletters during delivery phases.
• Represent Built at industry events forums and bid interactives showcasing the business expertise and supporting positioning for key strategic projects.
• Contribute stakeholder engagement expertise to the national portfolio where required.
• Lead and mentor team members building capability in strategic stakeholder engagement and communications.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications Public Relations Political Science Business or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Postgraduate qualifications (e.g. Masters in Communications Public Policy Infrastructure Leadership or similar) highly regarded but not essential.
• Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement for large complex infrastructure projects ideally including experience with major event or social infrastructure programs.
• Strong strategic communication and narrativebuilding capability with the ability to influence executivelevel decisionmakers and craft highimpact tender messaging.
• Exceptional relationshipbuilding skills with a track record of engaging government officials industry leaders and community stakeholders to support project outcomes.
• Advanced strategic thinking and riskmitigation skills including the ability to anticipate issues early and develop effective solutions to protect project delivery and reputation.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal capability with experience guiding crossfunctional teams and mentoring others in highstakes fastpaced project environments.
