Job Description

The Sample Analysis Data QC Manager oversees the Analysis Service Uppsala Data Management Team. The role is accountable for QC assessments of sample tests run on Olink panels by Analysis Service and the delivery of data to PSX customers both standard and this role you would work closely with the Analysis Service Laboratory and Lab Quality teams PSX Data Science team PSX Technical Support Teams and PSX Software Development Teams.

A Day in the Life:

  • Mentor team of Data Specialists focusing on skill development and ongoing performance management.

  • Oversee data quality control for all Olink panels run at AS Uppsala and data delivery process.

  • Report on QC trends and troubleshooting investigations.

  • Organize and assign customer delivery projects within the team.

  • Understand and work according to established methods and processes and be an active part in maintaining documentation and systems within the units quality system.

  • Independently and as part of a team solve technical or data issues customer or general problems and act as a resource for colleagues.

  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers with a customer service focus on all aspects of the work.

  • As a part of a multidisciplinary team develop and troubleshoot our data delivery and analysis pipeline.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree or similar within the Life Science field or similar

  • 3 to 5 years documented experience of laboratory work or equivalent with a focus on data analysis quality control and/or project management.

  • Leadership experience with focus on technical oversight and growth.

  • Documented experience in Microsoft Office programs and an ability to learn other software and systems.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and be flexible in your day-to- day work tasks.

  • Ability to meet customers in a professional and customer- friendly way.

  • Thorough self-motivated and proactive team- player with a desire to work across teams and disciplines.

  • Demonstrated strong communication skills both oral and written.
