Strategy & Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager within BA Markets you will join the Strategy & Business Development team playing a key role in shaping our future and driving Vattenfalls ambition to enable a fossil-free life within one generation.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders contribute to strategic decision-making and lead initiatives that drive growth efficiency and innovation across BA Markets.

Your role

In this position you will take on a broad and impactful scope of responsibilities:

• Drive and support the BA Markets strategy process including preparation of quarterly business reviews and key presentations to senior management and the Board
• Provide market and competitor analyses identifying trends opportunities and new business models in the evolving energy landscape
• Lead and contribute to strategic and cross-functional projects including collaborations with other business areas such as BA Wind and BA Customers & Solutions
• Identify and develop new business opportunities particularly in areas such as decarbonization flexibility and renewable energy solutions
• Contribute to large-scale transformation initiatives promoting digitalization AI and new ways of working
• Analyse emerging topics such as hydrogen and biogas translating market developments into strategic implications for BA Markets
• Act as a strong partner to the BA Markets Management Team working closely with the Head of BA Markets and senior stakeholders

Qualifications :

Your profile

We are looking for a motivated and curious professional who enjoys working in a dynamic and collaborative environment:

• 25 years of experience in the energy sector or a related field
• Experience in strategy business development or project work (e.g. consulting or in-house roles) is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex topics into clear insights
• A structured and proactive working style with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in working with senior stakeholders
• Interest in energy transition topics such as decarbonization renewables and new energy solutions
• A team player with a positive mindset and ambition to grow and develop
