Software Development Manager, Agentic AI AgentCore Gateway

Our work spans deep learning large-scale distributed systems and evaluation science workflows. We work closely with applied scientists product managers and UX designers to deliver services that are robust extensible and easy to use for developers and enterprise customers alike.

Key job responsibilities
Hire motivate mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team providing them with appropriate opportunities to succeed in their career objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work effectively with product managers and software engineers on other partner teams to ensure the successful delivery of features.
Ensure timely execution of key organizational automation goals and customer launches by removing blockers and reducing execution risks.
Work closely with the leadership team to provide input on OP1 roadmaps and strategic discussions.
Be deeply involved with engineers to architect and develop the best technical designs and approaches.
Build operational excellence to reduce lead times and maintain the operations of critical services.
Clearly communicate technical decisions and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations

- 3 years of engineering team management experience

- Experience delivering products against plan in a fast-paced multi-disciplined distributed-responsibility and often ambiguous environment
- Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
