Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with Critical Care experience to work in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) ICU setting. The ideal candidate will provide care to medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization and specialized treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in an LTAC ICU environment
Manage ventilated patients and support vent weaning
Perform wound care and manage patients with tracheostomy and PEG tubes
Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
Administer medications and treatments using electronic systems
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Float to other units as required based on patient care needs
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
Experience in ICU CCU or LTAC setting preferred
Strong critical care and patient management skills
Experience with EPIC EMR (minimum 1 year required)
Familiarity with medication administration systems (e.g. Omnicell)
Certifications:
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
