Whats the role
As a Lead Product Owner you are accountable for defining prioritising and delivering product outcomes that maximise business value while balancing customer needs risk and delivery constraints. Operating at a strategic level you own complex backlogs with crossfunctional dependencies and play a critical role in largescale transformation migration and platform modernisation initiatives. You act as the primary decision maker for product scope and priority ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy regulatory obligations and agreed delivery outcomes.
Additionally youll define and maintain a clear product vision roadmap and success measures translating business strategy transformation goals and regulatory requirements into actionable outcomes. You make informed prioritisation decisions that balance value cost of delay risk and delivery feasibility while owning a wellstructured backlog of epics features and user stories that are outcomefocused clearly articulated and ready for delivery.
You will partner across technology risk design and operations lead agile ways of working communicate transparently manage dependencies and embed risk compliance and continuous improvement outcomes
What do I need
- Extensive experience as a Senior Product Owner or Product Manager in large complex organisations preferably within banking or financial industries.
- Proven ownership of complex crossfunctional backlogs with multiple dependencies.
- Experience delivering largescale technology transformation migration or platform modernisation initiatives.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business strategy into prioritised outcomes.
- Solid understanding of risk compliance and regulatory requirements within regulated environments.
- Strong stakeholder leadership influencing and decisionmaking capability at senior levels.
- Deep experience working in agile delivery environments (e.g. Scrum SAFe) driving outcomefocused delivery.
