Lead Test Engineer Playwright & Typescript

The Lead Test Engineer - Playwright & TypeScript is responsible for designing developing and maintaining automated test frameworks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software. This role leads test strategy and execution across teams contributes to the build and delivery pipeline and serves as a trusted technical advisor on quality engineering standards and best practices.

Your Role Responsibilities Heres What Youll Do

• Develop and maintain complex integration functional and non-functional tests and automated test frameworks across teams to ensure holistic software quality.
• Lead and maintain the implementation of the delivery pipeline including test automation build environments test environments and security.
• Lead the verification of system functionality by executing complex automated and manual tests analyzing results and providing actionable recommendations.
• Operate as a trusted advisor on testing trends and issues; identify and implement improved test tools and automation methodologies aligned with best practices.
• Analyze and report test results monitor quality trends over time and provide guidance to teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor coach and train team members while influencing testing standards processes and test design across the organization.

Role Essentials What You Bring

• Significant hands-on experience with test automation frameworks including Playwright and TypeScript along with continuous integration and delivery tools.
• Proven experience across all phases of the test lifecycle including test design execution defect management and reporting.
• Significant experience with build environments delivery pipelines and CI/CD practices on Windows and Linux platforms.
• Strong programming and scripting skills with experience across multiple scripting languages and source control systems.
• Strong analytical communication and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide engineering team members.

What Wed Like to See Preferred Skills

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks including sprint planning work estimation and peer reviews.
• Experience with database technologies and performance or non-functional testing methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with regression testing and conducting complex peer code reviews for test automation code.
• Proven ability to influence quality standards coach cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement at an organizational level.
