Job Summary
Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa are looking for a friendly flexible and guest-focused Guest Experience Attendant to join our team someone who can confidently assist across both Front Office and Housekeeping operations on a casual basis
This is a hands-on dynamic role perfect for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a guest-facing environment. Youll be a key part role in the overall hotel experience ensuring our guests feel welcome well cared for and delighted from check-in to check-out while also assisting within housekeeping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests on arrival and handle check-ins/check-outs with efficiency and warmth
- Assist with housekeeping duties including servicing rooms and public areas as required
- Provide local recommendations handle guest requests and respond to feedback promptly
- Support linen handling room setup and presentation standards
- Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to brand and cleanliness standards
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Process payments accurately and maintain up-to-date guest records
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
- Shift times scheduled within 6:00am to 10:00pm
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $33.38 per hour
Saturday: $40.05 per hour
Sunday: $46.73 per hour
Qualifications :
Successful candidates will have:
- Previous hospitality experience across Front Office and Housekeeping would be highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated background in delivering high-quality service within a hotel hospitality or customer-facing environment.
- Exceptional ability to articulate information clearly and effectively across various mediums ensuring precise and professional correspondence.
- A positive adaptable attitude and excellent communication skills
- Confidence in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about creating positive guest experiences with a focus on attentive service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and evenings
