GENERAL MANAGER AUTOMOTIVE DEALERSHIP - Mpumalanga
An energetic and results-driven automotive leader is sought for the position of General Manager within a franchised dealership environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong passion for the motor industry and a proven ability to drive business growth lead high-performance teams and deliver both financial and OEM objectives.
The primary focus of this role is to lead people achieve Group and OEM targets and drive sustainable dealership profitability. The role also requires the development and execution of tactical strategies to ensure operational efficiency maximum performance and strong market share growth.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) essential

Qualification in Sales Marketing or Business (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years experience as a General Manager within a franchised motor dealership

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding vehicle sales targets

Proven success in achieving CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) standards

Valid drivers license essential

Strong computer literacy

Clear criminal record

Exceptional communication and customer service skills

Target-driven and performance-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute dealership strategies to drive revenue profitability and market share

Achieve and exceed financial targets in line with approved budgets

Oversee and manage cross-functional dealership operations

Ensure compliance with OEM distributor and legal requirements
- Manage dealership assets including cash flow stock debtors and creditors
- Provide strong leadership to attract develop and retain high-performing staff
- Drive customer acquisition and retention through customer-focused initiatives

Represent and promote the brand in line with franchise standards

Monitor competitor activity and conduct market analysis

Track operational performance and implement efficiency improvements
