Job Summary

Job Description
As the Sr. Specialist Store Experience Planning and Operations you will be responsible for creating comprehensive merchandise project plans and ensuring projects are deployed accurately and on time. Youll have the opportunity to partner with enterprise stakeholders and major consumer electronic vendors to deliver exceptional experiences for our retail locations and this role youll drive efficiency through team collaboration delegation and communication with key project partners. Your leadership and business acumen will propel our success in making our store experiences best in class.
This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What youll do
  • Influence without authority at all levels building strong internal and external relationships while holding cross-functional teams accountable for project deliverables.
  • Lead all aspects of project planning including milestones sustain plans and evaluations ensuring on-time on-budget quality delivery that meets project sponsors scope requirements.
  • Consistently communicate project status and risks to teams sponsors and stakeholders through regular updates.
  • Facilitate discussions and presentations in rooms of 10 people ensuring engagement and alignment among all participants.
Basic qualifications
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks efficiently prioritizing effectively and clearly conveying information to team members and stakeholders.
  • 2 or more years of program and project execution experience
  • 2 or more years merchandising/retail/alliance/consumer electronics operational experience
  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to identify address and resolve conflicts effectively.
Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelors degree
