Job Summary

1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Work with stakeholders (underwriters agents product managers)
  • Elicit document and validate business requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications
2. Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Support
  • Understand core modules like:
    • Policy lifecycle
    • Product model
    • Rating and underwriting rules
  • Collaborate with developers on configuration (not heavy coding but strong functional knowledge)
3. Business Process Mapping
  • Analyze current (as-is) and design future (to-be) processes
  • Identify gaps and suggest improvements
4. Documentation
  • Create:
    • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
    • Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)
    • User stories (Agile environments)
5. Testing & QA Support
  • Write and review test cases
  • Support:
    • System Integration Testing (SIT)
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Ensure solution meets business requirements
6. Stakeholder Communication
