Job Summary
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Work with stakeholders (underwriters agents product managers)
- Elicit document and validate business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications
- Understand core modules like:
- Policy lifecycle
- Product model
- Rating and underwriting rules
- Collaborate with developers on configuration (not heavy coding but strong functional knowledge)
- Analyze current (as-is) and design future (to-be) processes
- Identify gaps and suggest improvements
- Create:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)
- User stories (Agile environments)
- Write and review test cases
- Support:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Ensure solution meets business requirements
