Job Summary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensure our Life Essentials curriculum is presented as intended and that teachers can speak to the curriculum and what children are learning.
Spend up to 80% of your time in the classroom mentoring and modeling for teachers best health and safety and developmentally appropriate practices in the ECE field.
Partner with parents to support and share the educational needs of their child.
Help build a strong and positive culture within our community by encouraging teamwork and self-motivation.
Support your centers success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment accreditation and operational objectives.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
An associate or bachelors degree in early childhood education or a related field.
5-7 years of professional school-based experience with young children and a demonstrated strength in implementing a child- centered curriculum is necessary.
Ability to lead staff in implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create partnerships with families and staff.
Experience and skill in communication leadership organization and supervision.
Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements.
Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
Must have knowledge of the NAEYC accreditation standards and process.
