What Youll Do
Payroll Processing & Administration
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-site employees ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and validate timesheets PTO bonuses and adjustments prior to payroll submission.
- Ensure proper calculation of wages overtime and deductions in compliance with federal and state laws.
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain compliance with federal state and local payroll regulations.
- Manage payroll tax filings wage garnishments and deductions.
- Prepare and distribute W-2s and other required payroll reports.
- Assist with audits and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
Employee Support
- Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related questions and issues.
- Resolve discrepancies and provide timely support to employees and managers.
- Educate employees on payroll policies deductions and timekeeping processes.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Maintain and update employee payroll data in HRIS/payroll systems.
- Partner with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
Timekeeping & Coordination
- Monitor timekeeping systems for accuracy and compliance.
- Work closely with managers to ensure timely submission and approval of hours.
- Track and manage PTO accruals and usage.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- 24 years of experience in payroll processing preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with payroll systems/HRIS (e.g. ADP Paychex UKG or similar).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or high-volume workforce environments.
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance HR or related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a plus.
