As an Intern at our ETP manufacturing facility you will support the analysis and evaluation of a production systems performance following its first year of implementation. This role offers hands-on experience in continuous improvement initiatives and plant-wide program deployment.

Project Overview:

• Assist with the one-year review and assessment of the GembaDocs program.
• Support the team in the full-scale implementation and long-term adoption of GembaDocs.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to develop strategies for expanding the program across the facility.
• Uphold housekeeping standards and contribute to maintaining a 6S work environment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Current junior or senior pursuing a degree in Engineering Computer Science Business Administration or a related field.
• Ability to work onsite in Brownsville Tennessee.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week; MondayFriday 8 hours per day).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Basic experience using mobile devices (e.g. tablet or smartphone camera).
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles preferred.
• Exposure to GembaDocs is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks thoroughly and on time.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance consistent with the ADA FMLA and other federal state and local standards
• Must be able to wear required safety equipment.
