Overview
As the Recruiter Military Programs at Propel Career Academy your primary responsibility is to manage and oversee the recruitment admissions and enrollment processes with a specialized focus on supporting military students and veterans through education initiatives.
In this role you will ensure that military students are effectively recruited guided through their educational journey from application to enrollment and supported throughout their studies. You will also assist military students and veterans with the admissions process VA forms and other requirements to ensure successful enrollment and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy specifically designed to attract military students and veterans to Propels programs.
- Manage the admissions process from inquiry through enrollment ensuring a seamless experience for military students.
- Provide guidance to veterans and military students regarding educational programs eligibility and the application process.
- Assist military students with VA forms and coordinate with VA offices to ensure timely and accurate processing of veteran benefits.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns and materials that promote educational opportunities tailored to military students.
- Establish and maintain relationships with military bases veterans organizations and community groups to enhance recruitment efforts.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations including Texas Workforce Commission and VA Certifying Official requirements.
- Use data and feedback to continuously improve the admissions and recruitment process focusing on enhancing services for military students.
- Represent Propel at career fairs industry events as well as veteran support initiatives to promote the academys programs both in the community and on our campus.
- Work closely with the leadership team to align recruitment efforts with the academys strategic goals and ensure they are supportive of military student success.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of VA regulations and communicate updates to military students and staff as necessary.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in admissions recruitment or student services preferably with a focus on military or veteran education programs.
- Proven experience supporting military students or managing veteran education initiatives.
- Bachelors degree in Education Business or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the admissions process including recruitment strategies and application procedures for military students.
- Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with VA Certifying Official processes and Texas Workforce Commission regulations is a plus.
- Previous experience in an educational or vocational training environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance recruitment efforts for military students.
