Key Responsibilities
As the Commercial Insurance Administrator you will play a critical role in supporting the commercial team by ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of client documentation and policy administration. Your responsibilities will include:
- Policy Administration & Documentation:
o Prepare process and review policy documents endorsements certificates and invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
o Ensure all documentation is compliant with insurer requirements and internal standards supporting a seamless client experience. - Client & Broker Support:
o Provide day-to-day administrative support to Account Managers and Producers assisting with renewals new business and mid-term changes.
o Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner coordinating with insurers and internal stakeholders as needed. - System Management & Data Integrity:
o Maintain accurate client records within the brokerage management system ensuring all activities and documentation are properly logged.
o Utilize tools such as Applied EPIC to manage workflows track tasks and support reporting requirements. - Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met and service standards are upheld.
o Contribute to process improvements and support a positive collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Education & Experience:
o Level 2 Insurance License (required).
o 3 years of personal lines insurance experience with exposure to commercial lines considered an asset. - Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
o Experience with Applied EPIC is considered a strong asset. - Key Competencies:
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
o A proactive and team-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
