Insurance Technology Platform Delivery

Not every Business Analyst role is the same.

Some are internal change roles improving a single system over several years.

Others sit closer to delivery where requirements become working software and where your analysis directly shapes how a platform behaves for real clients.

This role sits firmly in the second category.

Were partnering with a specialist insurance technology provider that designs and implements core platforms used by insurers underwriting agencies and broker networks.

These platforms power the way insurance products are launched configured and operated from policy administration to underwriting workflows integrations and reporting.

Theyre now looking for aBusiness Analyst who enjoys working close to delivery someone who can translate complex insurance processes into clear requirements that delivery teams can actually build.

The opportunity

You will sit at the centre of delivery working closely with Delivery Managers Implementation Consultants and engineers to shape how insurance platforms are implemented for clients.

This is not a documentation-heavy BA role sitting at a distance from delivery.

Youll be directly involved in:

• Understanding how insurers operate and what theyre trying to achieve

• Translating those needs into clear structured requirements

• Working with implementation teams to ensure solutions behave as expected

• Supporting testing and delivery through to go-live

Your work will directly influence how insurance products underwriting rules and workflows are implemented inside the platform.

You wont be managing people.

You will be close to the work influencing the solution.

What youll be doing

You will be deeply involved in delivery:

• Translating requirements into user stories functional specifications and process flows

• Working closely with Implementation Consultants who configure the platform

• Bridging conversations between business stakeholders and technical teams

• Supporting Agile ceremonies including stand-ups sprint planning and backlog refinement

• Helping ensure solutions are tested properly and delivered successfully

Youll spend less time writing documents for the sake of documentation and more time ensuring solutions actually work for clients.

Who this role suits

This role tends to suit Business Analysts who:

• Have 2-5 years of BA experience

• Have worked in commercial or general insurance environments

• Understand insurance processes terminology and stakeholder expectations

• Are comfortable operating in Agile delivery teams

• Have experience working in consulting-style environments or client-facing roles

• Are confident engaging directly with clients running workshops asking the right questions and clarifying requirements

• Enjoy working closely with engineers product teams and delivery managers

• Prefer hands-on delivery work

It particularly resonates with BAs who have worked on:
