Job Summary

Position Summary
To provide secretarial support to the Administrator to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
The following list of duties includes primary responsibilities but is not all-inclusive:
- Type documents reports and correspondence
- Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member
- Greet public and clients and direct them to the correct staff member
- Take and distribute accurate messages
- Co-ordinate and organize appointments and meetings
- Receive sort and distribute incoming mail
- Prepare outgoing mail for distribution
- Fax scan and copy documents
- Maintain office filing and storage systems
- Retrieve information when requested
- Monitor and maintain office supplies
- Keep office area clean and tidy
Specific Requirements:
- Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office
- Proficient in use of email and internet
- Accurate keyboard skills
- Customer service orientation
- Communication skills verbal and written
- Confidentiality
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
