Description:
Unit Secretary - FT - Days - Neuro- St. Marys Hospital Athens GA
Position Purpose:
St. Marys is looking for an experienced and compassionate Unit Secretary to work within the critical Care Departments.

What you will do:

The Unit Secretary supports the assigned unit by facilitating communication with patients staff physicians visitors and ancillary departments. The Unit Secretary directs incoming calls and responds to patient calls. The Unit Secretary enters physicians orders in the Information System. The Unit Secretary maintains patients charts unit files and secretarial supply levels. The Unit Secretary is responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly environment.

What you will need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Nursing Assistant certification preferred. BLS thru American Heart Association required at time of hire.

Education: Must be a high school graduate or have GED equivalent.

Experience: Hospital or Clinical experience preferred
