Student Hourly Assistant | Summer Intern (Data Analysis)

The Summer Intern (Hourly) under general supervision will perform research in data analysis and assist the CREDIT Center operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist faculty and staff on research projects

• Assist with general office activities

• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Presently enrolled at Prairie View A&M University for at least nine (9) graduate or six (6) undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done.

• Must be in good academic standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college; minimum 2.0 GPA

• No prior experience necessary

• For work eligibility during a summer term a student must be enrolled for at least six(6) graduate or undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done or preregistered at least six (6) undergraduate semester hours for the fall/spring terms.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Background in R and Python programming and data analysis research preferred

Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in R and Python programming

• Experience in data analysis research

Other Requirements:

• Experience in data analysis research
