General Labourer Summer Student Contract

Hiring for this position is subject to the Canada Summer Job Program funding.

What we are hiring for: We are currently hiring a Part-time General Labourer for our Petrolia Enterprises location in Petrolia Ontario.

The successful candidate will assist with tasks such as:

• Completing assigned production tasks
• Cleaning of facilities equipment and tools
• Providing manual labour services
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Additional tasks as assigned

If the Canada Summer Jobs funding is not approved the eligible criteria is:

• Knowledge of woodworking
• Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills
• Creative thinking and decision-making skills
• Be willing to provide a clear Criminal Record Check

Compensation and Scheduling:

• $17.60 per hour
• Contract Part-time: 30 hours per week
• Position from approximately June 8 2026 - August 16 2026

Requirements of the Canada Summer Jobs Program for this position:

• Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
• Be a Canadian citizen permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
