Compensation: Anticipated compensation for this position is $125-165k* plus a 15% target incentive.

Job Summary
Support and lead day-to-day accounting activities with primary responsibility for the month-end close consolidation balance sheet reconciliations and support of external/SEC reporting. Provide technical accounting leadership by preparing accounting memos drafting policy positions performing GAAP research and supporting complex transaction accounting (M&A share-based compensation etc.). Serve as a liaison with external auditors and collaborate across finance functions to support various accounting and financial reporting and analysis.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead and execute the monthly and quarterly close process ensuring timely and accurate financial results.
  • Full managerial responsibility for a team of accounting analysts and accounting specialists.
  • Manage and review key balance sheet reconciliations; drive timely resolution of reconciling items.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and analyses for SEC and other external reporting; assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
  • Draft and maintain technical accounting documentation: accounting memos policy positions and GAAP/SEC research.
  • Provide accounting support for complex transactions including M&A stock-based compensation and debt financings.
  • Oversee stock-based compensation (SBC) accounting and ensure appropriate measurement and disclosure.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors; coordinate requests and provide supporting schedules and documentation.
  • Collaborate with FP&A Tax Legal Treasury and other teams to support reporting and transaction activities.
  • Drive for continuous process improvement with experience in automation and leveraging technology to achieve improved efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in accounting
  • CPA license
  • 5 years of recent experience in public accounting or equivalent technical accounting experience with experience in SEC/public company reporting and managing teams
  • Experience with US GAAP and consolidation accounting

Preferred Skill & Experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems
  • Proficiency in AI/BI tools to lead and support automation of accounting processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex accounting topics clearly
  • Highly organized detail-oriented and able to meet tight reporting deadlines
  • Proactive problem solver who works well both independently and collaboratively
