Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care (CVPICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) to join a critical care float pool. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric and cardiac patients
• Monitor assess and respond to changes in patient condition
• Analyze patient care data to plan implement and evaluate individualized care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize advanced clinical judgment in high-acuity situations
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records

Patient Population

• Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU)
• Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care (CVPICU)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
• Completion of Nurse Residency Program (for new graduates) Required
• Active New York State RN License Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Required

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong ability to analyze and interpret patient care data
• Knowledge of:
