Job Summary
Join our team as an Operations Supervisor and take the next step in leading people solving problems and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will oversee a team and ensure that all team/unit objectives and standards are consistently met. Successful candidates for this vital position are flexible problem-solvers who enjoy coaching employees to help customers resolve their questions and concerns.
Job responsibilities
- Manage costs in line with agreed budgets.
- Manage outsourced print and mail activities
- Support Business and client projects
- Develop relationships with key contact and day to day internal clients.
- Set and review local operating procedures within standard framework.
- Perform management of direct reports including performance evaluations & corrective action may be involved in some level of salary planning
- Assign & set workflow priorities
- Ensure that training and development for all staff is appropriate and effective
Have a working knowledge of production equipment in line with job specification.
- Advise users and staff on the appropriate methods of production and provide technical support and advice where necessary
- Manage any reasonable ad hoc duties as required by the Operation Manager
Required qualifications skills and capabilities
- Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Minimum 3 years people manager experience
- Strong analytical experience
- Strong stakeholder management
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational time management and planning skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Self starter that can work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred qualifications skills and capabilities:
Previous experience in a print and mail background
Logistic background
