Janitorial Specialist (Industrial EH&S)

• Compensation -$18.25 - $22.90

• Clean and maintain restrooms break rooms offices conference rooms and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout indoor and outdoor designated areas
• Clean and sanitize hightouch surfaces and shared spaces
• Perform general dusting sweeping mopping and surface cleaning across the facility

• Restock supply carts and replenish cleaning materials as needed
• Maintain organized and clean supply closets
• Ensure proper handling storage and usage of cleaning chemicals and PPE
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Safety First Aid Room

• Follow all EH&S and 6S standards to maintain a safe and compliant workplace
• Identify and report any safety hazards or facility issues to management
• Support environmental and safety initiatives across the facility

• Support cleaning needs during break and lunch periods as scheduled
• Maintain good attendance and strong work ethic
• Perform other cleaning or sanitation duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to follow written schedules procedures and safety protocols
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Prior janitorial or industrial custodial experience preferred
• Knowledge of Industrial EH&S standards safework practices and hazard awareness
• Understanding of proper chemical handling PPE use and cleaning equipment operation

• Frequent standing walking bending twisting and reaching
• Ability to lift (up to 50lbs) and carry cleaning supplies tools and trash bags
• Ability to push/pull cleaning carts and mop buckets

• Indoor industrial and manufacturing areas
• Occasional outdoor tasks
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with PPE provided)

• Wear safetytoed footwear safety glasses with side shields hearing protection and other PPE as required
• Follow all Rittal safety procedures and EH&S guidelines

• Follow assigned cleaning schedule and daily priorities
• Report safety or facility concerns promptly
• Exercise good judgment in prioritizing tasks
