Responsibilities:
The Equipment Manager reports to the Director of Machinery & Equipment and is responsible for the equipment needs of the Stanley Park Project based in Vancouver. This includes:
Taking care of externalrentals of heavyequipment and smalltoolsfromsupplierstheir rates and completeinvoicing;
Plan and coordinate the movement of equipment on site;
Meet site requirements for equipmenteither by purchaserental or internaltransfer;
Optimize equipment utilization and ensure profitability;
Monitor equipment usage reports and optimize with the site;
Weekly updating the Location of equipment and requiredequipment;
Participate in start-of-shift and planning meetings;
Developannualequipment budgets for the contract;
Monitor equipment numbering and equipment immobilization sheets if required;
Negotiate rental agreements for light trucks and small tools if required;
Perform comparative technical analyses of equipment for decision-makingpurposes;
Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities on equipment belonging to the joint venture;
Purchase requisitions for parts and materials required for maintenance and repair of JV-owned equipment;
Maintain up-to-date information on preventive and corrective maintenance and repairsperformed on JV-ownedequipment.
Requirements

Must be fluent bothwritten and spoken English (French an asset);
Must beavailable for a 5-day civil engineering workschedule on the Stanley Park project.
