Job Summary
The Role
The Human Resources Advisor reporting to the Head of Advisory and People Services is responsible for delivering highquality solutionsfocused HR advice to Operational Leaders. This role supports the development of capable people leaders and contributes to a highperformance culture across the Sodexo workforce. The Advisor will champion Sodexos Just Culture principles while helping mitigate business risk and strengthen organisational capability.
- Provide timely accurate HR advice that supports effective decisionmaking and aligns with Sodexos Just Culture and performance expectations.
- Coach and guide managers through disciplinary processes ensuring all actions comply with legislative requirements and internal procedures.
- Partner with leaders to identify recommend and implement practical solutions to HR and peoplemanagement challenges.
- Ensure consistent application of Sodexo HR policies procedures contracts and industrial instruments across all sites within the segment.
- Respond to employee queries regarding policies procedures contracts and remuneration.
- Design deliver and facilitate internal workshops and training sessions to build leadership capability (e.g. performance reviews exit interviews).
- Analyse monthly HR reports identify trends and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Undertake additional duties as required by the Manager.
About you
- Minimum 4 years HR experience with strong knowledge of employee relations.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective stakeholder relationships across diverse workforce groups ideally within a large national organisation.
- Proven capability in interpreting and explaining HR policies procedures and contractual documentation to managers.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn adapt and apply feedback proactively.
- Labour and Employment Law Intermediate
- Microsoft Office Suite Intermediate
- SAP SuccessFactors Intermediate
- Grievance and Arbitration Processes
Qualifications :
Education
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
