Job Summary

Reporting to the GM South Australia this role is responsible for leading all operational functions across the SA business including reception customer service and invoicing.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is genuinely motivated to learn every part of the operation understand each task in detail and become the trusted expert across the full service delivery model. You will play a key role in strengthening team stability supporting revenue growth and ensuring a consistently high standard of service for medical specialists referrers customers and patients.

This role will suit an Operations Manager who is not only outcomes-focused but who takes genuine pride in building strong teams understanding the detail and contributing to a workplace where people want to stay and succeed.

The SA Operations Manager is responsible for:

Leadership & Team Culture

  • Build a stable engaged and accountable team environment
  • Lead with transparency consistency and genuine care
  • Provide day-to-day leadership support coaching and direction
  • Foster a culture aligned to mlcoas values of empathy inclusion and collaboration

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end operations to ensure efficient high-quality service delivery with a keen attention to detail
  • Develop a deep working understanding of all roles within the team
  • Identify opportunities to optimise processes within a well-established framework passionate about continuous improvement and innovation
  • Ensure performance is aligned to KPIs and service expectations

Stakeholder & Service Delivery

  • Support a seamless experience for medical specialists referrers customers and patients
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Actively manage issues and escalations with care confidence and professionalism

Performance & Accountability

  • Drive accountability across the team with clear expectations and follow-through
  • Contribute to revenue growth through operational effectiveness
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks proactively
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and innovation

Qualifications :

Who are You

You are an established Operations Manager who leads from the front and takes pride in both the big picture and the detail:

  • Proven experience leading operational teams in a service-driven environment
  • Strong people leadership capability with a focus on stability engagement and performance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage KPIs performance and complex issues
  • Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication skills
  • A hands-on leader who is willing to learn every operational task no matter how small
  • Brings a natural balance of accountability and empathy in leadership style
  • Experience in insurance healthcare medico-legal or professional services
