SRSS Housing OfficerFull Time Permanent ContractBased in LoganSCHCADS Award Level 4Do you want to work for a leading national not-for-profit organisation providing dedicated human and social services to a diverse AustraliaWith community at the heart of everything we do our purpose is to create a world in which everyone has access to equal RoleThe SRSS program is a complex and multifaceted program model that works with asylum seekers in the community that are awaiting the outcome of a visa assessment and are considered highly vulnerable due to their economic visa or health YouAs the SRSS Housing Officer you will support asylum seeker clients by sourcing and setting up both short term and long-term accommodation conducting regular property inspections and providing ongoing housing support. You will work closely with SRSS Case Managers Team Leaders and the broader SRSS team to ensure safe compliant and client focused housing outcomes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in community services property coordination and stakeholder ResponsibilitiesSource and set up shortterm and longterm accommodationEnsure properties are fully prepared with required basic household goodsConduct monthly property inspections condition reports and coordinate maintenanceProvide longterm accommodation support and client advocacy where requiredMaintain accurate housing records across internal and departmental systemsBuild and manage relationships with clients real estate agents contractors and internal stakeholdersCoordinate contractors and process invoices in a timely mannerWork collaboratively with the SRSS team to support client property mattersPlease reach out to us for the full Position Description to review the Key Responsibilities and Measures of success.
