About the Project
ACCIONA is a global leader in the development and delivery of sustainable infrastructure. This project involves the delivery of major civil works including complex retaining wall structures supporting critical infrastructure outcomes and long-term community benefits.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer Civil to join our project team. Reporting to the Project Engineer you will be responsible for supporting the safe efficient and compliant delivery of civil construction works with a key focus initially on retaining wall structures. This role will see you take ownership of site-based engineering activities and contribute to achieving project objectives across safety quality cost and programme.
Key accountabilities
- Oversee and coordinate site activities to ensure works are delivered safely efficiently and in line with project timelines
- Manage the planning and execution of construction works in accordance with approved drawings specifications and methodologies
- Take ownership of the delivery of retaining wall structures ensuring quality constructability and compliance with design requirements
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors suppliers and site teams to achieve programme and productivity targets
- Ensure compliance with HSE quality and environmental standards across all site activities
- Contribute to project controls including progress tracking cost management and programme reporting
- Maintain accurate project documentation including QA records inspections and as-built data
Required Skills and Competencies
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience working as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects
- Strong experience delivering retaining wall structures
- Sound understanding of construction methodologies and site controls
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- White Card (essential)
- Strong communication skills with a proactive team-focused approach
Due to Defence security requirements applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
