JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for creating and executing property-level marketing and communications to promote on-brand messaging across traditional digital and social media channels. Drives consumer awareness market share and brand positioning while supporting the hotels sales and revenue strategy. Focuses on showcasing rooms and Food & Beverage promotions to both in-house guests and local markets while ensuring alignment with Marriott brand standards and regional marketing initiatives.
Education and Experience:
2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing Public Relations Business Administration or related major and 5 years experience in marketing digital advertising experience in hospitality
* Professional fluency in Japanese is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Hotel Marketing and Advertising
- Execute annual marketing plan in alignment with hotel business objectives and budget
- Partner with Operations Food & Beverage and Sales teams to execute campaigns that drive incremental revenue
- Support targeted promotions across corporate weekday and leisure weekend segments
- Coordinate with Revenue Management to ensure correct offer loading and campaign targeting
- Execute digital marketing initiatives including email marketing and online advertising
- Ensure all marketing communications align with brand voice and standards
Managing Digital Presence and Social Media Content
- Manage hotel website content and ensure accuracy across digital channels and travel platforms
- Develop and execute social media campaigns for rooms F&B and hotel promotions
- Drive social media engagement and monitor online presence
- Support online reputation management by responding to guest feedback across digital platforms
- Coordinate with eCommerce teams to align digital initiatives with revenue strategy
Public Relations and Brand Communication
- Develop and execute PR plans aligned with hotel objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with local media influencers and partners
- Prepare and distribute press releases for hotel promotions events and outlets
- Support media engagement and activities to enhance hotel visibility
- Manage PR activities including events press coverage and partnerships
Managing Visual Assets and Content Development
- Coordinate photography and visual content for hotel promotions and campaigns
- Manage photo shoots for seasonal campaigns and F&B promotions
- Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and standards
- Maintain a library of approved marketing assets and materials
Managing Marketing Collateral and Direct Marketing
- Develop and manage hotel marketing collateral and promotional materials
- Ensure all materials are aligned with brand standards and audit requirements
- Coordinate production of signage and in-house promotional materials
- Support execution of direct marketing initiatives for rooms and F&B
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends for benchmarking
Supporting Commercial Strategy and Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with Sales team to support revenue generation initiatives
- Align marketing efforts with hotel sales and revenue strategy
- Support promotion of rooms and outlets while excluding banquet/MICE sales (handled by external entity)
- Coordinate with Rooms Division and F&B teams for campaign execution
- Provide marketing insights and support to leadership team
Managing Marketing Performance and Continuous Improvement
- Monitor campaign performance engagement and effectiveness
- Coordinate with regional and cluster teams to evaluate marketing initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing impact and efficiency
- Stay updated on digital trends competitor activities and market developments
