Job Summary Software Automation Test Engineer
- Develop review and maintain UI test scripts using JavaScript and related frameworks.
- Utilize Selenium WebDriver for automation framework development and execution.
- Design and automate backend tests for REST APIs ensuring robust API coverage.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for cloud-based web applications.
- Perform various types of testing: functional non-functional (performance security usability compatibility) regression end-to-end and API testing.
- Identify document and track software defects collaborating with developers for timely resolution.
- Analyze test results produce test metrics and prepare detailed test reports with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Engineering Design Support QA) to ensure quality and test coverage.
- Advocate for quality assurance best practices and shift-left testing methodologies.
- Ensure web applications function correctly across multiple devices operating systems and browsers in cloud environments.
