Job Summary (List Format) Analytics Specialist
- Design and implement data models: Develop and maintain comprehensive data models for supporting analytics and business needs including both physical and virtual data instances.
- Develop advanced data models: Create traditional relational models medallion architecture and cloud-based data models including those tailored for AI and machine learning use cases.
- Utilize key tools: Design and maintain data models using Erwin Data Modeler; use Power BI for data modeling and visualization.
- Publish and document models: Ensure data models are accessible via the organizations intranet and create clear documentation for business user understanding and usability.
- Knowledge transfer: Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for IT team members and business stakeholders to ensure effective use and ownership of data models.
- Support model maintenance: Advise and assist in the development and upkeep of data models by internal staff.
- Work with various platforms: Leverage expertise in Snowflake Oracle databases and manage DDL scripts.
- Apply data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts: Utilize experience in Power BI data warehousing ETL/ELT reporting and performance optimization.
- Experience with AI/ML models: Design and maintain data models specifically for AI and machine learning applications.
- State agency experience: Preferably have experience working with state agencies in the pension and health benefits domain.
